Skinner Montessori

I have toured Skinner Montessori. This is an impressive school. The kids look so cute in their matching uniforms.

And I love the way the classrooms are set up. In a traditonal classroom, the desks are lined up facing the front of the room. In Skinner Montessori their are no desks, stations are set up through out the room and depending on which tasks the children are working on, is where they are sitting. The classroom teacher and her two assistants walk throughout the room and help the students as needed.

The enviroment seems to promote a very hands on learning approach with the students.
